What happens when you combine the best of Jeep-And-Mopar? JAM!

What happens when you combine the best of Jeep-And-Mopar?  JAM!  You get JAMWerks by Fields Auto Group.   Born from a desire to supply Jeep enthusiasts with premier custom modifications, Fields Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in Northfield, IL launched the JAMWerks division earlier this year.  The first order of business?  A $50,000 customized Jeep Wrangler build with the proceeds going to the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation!

For the inaugural build, Fields Jeep GM Jim Moyer chose to honor a very special and meaningful cause: the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation (CPMF).  The CPMF is a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring the lives and memories of fallen heroes.  It provides support and assistance to the families of Chicago Police officers killed or injured in the line of duty.  Moyer lost a friend in service and also has a family member who served in the force and has since retired.  A special build was designed around this theme.  The result is a customized off-road vehicle that not only pays homage to the CPMF but also incorporates high quality Mopar aftermarket parts familiar to Jeep enthusiasts.  This 4-door Jeep Wrangler has special Chicago PD themed graphics, performance upgrades to the suspension, custom leather embroidered seats, a night stick shifter and an interior surprise that is currently under wraps!  All told, the vehicle will exceed $50k in value.  It will be raffled off with a portion of the proceeds going to the Foundation.  Fields is donating all of the time and labor and funding over half of the fixed costs.  Additionally, Fields Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram in Northfield will donate $250 to the Foundation for every new customer of theirs that mentions CPMF when purchasing a vehicle.  The vehicle will make appearances at a number of showcase events, including the Chicago Auto Show and CPMF’s Candlelight Vigil in September 2013.

Jim Moyer (Executive Director), Patrick O’Donnell (Designer), and Rick Ziolko (Lead Tech) head up the JAMWerks team and have donated many hours of expertise for a spectacular inaugural build.  Other builds are already under way and promise to be just as exciting, high quality, and unique. Look out for greater participation in local events where like-minded enthusiasts can be found.  Learn more by following JAMWerk’s  Facebook Page.
