After a close race, Country Kitchen has been deemed the best brunch place in Highland Park.

The restaurant, known for its classic American breakfast, is located at 446 Central Ave.

Country Kitchen received 26 of the 75 votes, and already boasted a directory review from 2010.

"I go here for breakfast all the time - simply fantastic food and service. But you better get there early if you want a seat - they get busy fast," wrote Patch reader David Greenberg.
