Julia Vojtsek of Algonquin says her life was saved by the heroic actions of John T. Larimer, a Crystal Lake native, who was killed during a murderous attack at a Colorado movie theatre, the Daily Herald Reports.
Vojtsek was reportedly visiting her father in Colorado when she went to the July 20, midnight showing of Batman in Aurora, Colorado with Larimer, the article reports.
The woman told News Radio 780 WBBM that when the gunshots erupted, Larimer acted as a human shied, and he is the reason she survived.
