For Sale: Michael Jordan's Mansion

Basketball legend's Highland Park home now listed for $29 million.

Michael Jordan's Highland Park mansion has been put up for sale, Crain's Chicago Business reports.

The legendary basketball player's home has been listed for $29 million. The 56,000-square-foot-home home, built between 1993 and 1995, includes nine bedrooms, 15 bathrooms and an indoor basketball court, according to Crain's.

The Tribune reports that if Jordan's home sells for "anywhere near that asking price, it would be the most expensive, publicly listed home sale in the Chicago area."

The listing marks the second time in two years former Chicago Bulls players have made real estate news. Last March, an estate sale was held at Scottie Pippen's former Highland Park mansion.

Jordan's home has been listed by Baird & Warner Real Estate.

in this market 10 million is what he can get. if i remember jordan sued the builder after the house was built alledging some problems during construction. i wonder if those problems were rectified? any buyer should be aware of this before bidding.

It's a shame he did not list it about 2006. Someone could have gotten a nice interest only, sub-prime, no income verification, no down payment loan. Would have gone for $30 Mil easy. Foreclosure would still be in process, MJ would have his money and we taxpayers would be stuck with the write off at Fannie Mae/Mac.
Times have changed, thankfully. This will be listed for a while at 29.
