When looking for a Valentine’s gift, why not give one that will love you back?
That is what Riverwoods based Orphans of the Storm is making possible at Northbrook from noon to 7 p.m. through Feb. 18 at Northbrook Court.
Volunteers from the organization are staffing an adoption center and gift wrapping facility on the lower level of the mall. If that does not work, the Riverwoods shelter, with more than 500 dogs and cats, is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
