Highwood Almost Breaks Jack-O-Lantern Record

The four-day festival ended with more than 25,000 pumpkins lit. Then it started raining.

The Great Highwood Pumpkin Festival wrapped up Saturday night with 26,283 jack-0-lanterns glowing throughout the city. It was about 6,000 short of the original, record-breaking goal of 32,000.

Then it started raining.
