Polls Remain Open Until 7 p.m.

Check Patch all day and all night until the results are complete.

 

As polls open at 6 a.m. today and remain open until 7 p.m. throughout Deerfield, Patch will be the best place to keep up to date with the results and events throughout the day.

Anyone who did not take advantage of early voting can get learn their polling place from the Lake County Clerk’s website.

As soon as the polls close, Patch will be live blogging from its Election Central in the Illinois campaign headquarters of Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney.

Deerfield is well represented on the ballot. Deerfield’s Brad Schneider is one of four Democratic candidates for Congress along with Ilya Sheyman, John Tree and Vivek Bavda. The winner will earn the right to run against Rep. Robert Dold (R-Kenilworth) in the Nov. 6 general election.

West Deerfield Township Supervisor Julie Morrison is running against Milton Sumption of Lake Bluff for the Democratic nomination to succeed retiring state Sen. Susan Garrett (D-Lake Forest). The winner will face Highland Park pediatrician Arie Friedman.
