As far as we know, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson have never been to Northbrook or its mall. But a lifesize poster of One Direction, the British boy band (and screaming girl caravan) lets patrons of the United States' first 1D World store pose with the band. The poster is so life-like, you can almost smell the singers' hair product. 

According to one store employee, posters of Harry (the one with the hair) and ones of Zayn (the other one with the hair) sell out fastest, but the store has been restocking items that fly off the shelves. Or slip off, drifting along the linolium floor on a trail of tween girl tears. 

The pop-up store at Northbrook Court is open every day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. until Sept. 12.
