The Highland Park High School girls track & field team is headed to Eastern Illinois University for State this weekend. Congratulations!

The Giants will compete in six events, which is the most qualifications in the history of the high school.

The following athletes will be competing:

Nyjah Lane – 100 M Dash, 200 M

Dash Kiera Thorpe – 400 M Dash

Shiela Grant-Shaffer – Shot Put

4x100 M Relay Team – Kiera Thorpe, Lauren Chilow, Courtney Bartelstein, Nyjah Lane

4x200 M Relay Team – Lauren Chilow, Lauren Mintzer, Courtney Bartelstein, Nyjah Lane
