Why Alyssa Knobel is a Great Choice for Highland Park City Council

I’m excited to support Alyssa Knobel for Highland Park City Council.  She has proven to be a person I turn to as a valuable community resource with boundless energy and someone who knows how to empower others to reach their goals.

Alyssa has prepared herself for the role of Councilman through her deep involvement in our community.  Alyssa has been a long-time community volunteer. She serves as a City commissioner and also serves on a number of other local boards. Her commitment to giving back to our community sets a great example. With raising a family and by building a business here, Alyssa has a vested interest in keeping Highland Park special.

While Alyssa is very proactive in her efforts to make Highland Park an even better community, she knows it is important and always takes the time to listen and be accessible to residents.  As a Councilman, I know Alyssa will help to unify our community as we move Highland Park forward.  Please join me in voting for Alyssa Knobel this April 9th.

Hey MAx:
Did Alyssa put you up to this or her best friend the Mayor. They have constantly used the patch to promote her run for office. All the posts are pretty much the same. Why don't we just move the City Council to the Mayor's house?

Not that this really deserves a reply for those of us who know Max well, but he isn't the type to be "put up to" anything. It's common in any political campaign to request letters to the editor in support of a candidate. Every paper is flooded with them during election season. So, Daniel, if you don't like the way things are... why don't you run for office? Come out, let us all know who you are, and let's see if you can produce some change in the "corrupt" city that you allude that we live in.

So that’s a good thing Daniel, if she is half as responsible and keeps the same eye on waste that the mayor does Alyssa is a win win for the city. Now to sum it up, our last mayor and city council were either incompetent or corrupt. Thank god we have broken from that tradition.
