Jeffrey L. Stern, it only gets worse... 5 of the eight people who voted "unanimously" inRead Moref avor of this plan, were actually there! Mundelein (R) Rep. Ed Sullivan was the ONLY person to stand up and speak out about this scandal. Speaker Michael Madigan thinks he can do whatever he wants... and he is right! Attorney General Lisa Madigan is his Daughter and she will not oppose good o'e Daddy!

That is impossible... the Police would not let something like this happen, we live in an ultra safe Read Morecommunity with 911. Criminals know to not dare set foot here, we have cell phones and can have the Police summoned in mere minutes, 5-15 in most cases. Oh the brazenness of these criminals is astounding, whats next... Home Invasion, Armed Robbery, Rape and Car Jackings!

Dan, your a drama queen. Now is there anyway you can become part of the solution so Shira can getRead Moreso me assistance. It's Easter Sunday, can we take a break for one day on your gun agenda? Remember, I still like guns.

Congratulations to the few Patch readers that remain for ignoring this douche bag and making himRead Moreeve n more inconsequential than he ever was. How much more pitiful can you become, Dan? You turn this poor woman's tragedy into just another cheap notch in your selfish little campaign. Cheap stereotypical "stats" ... cheap cliche nursery tales ... And other inventions of paranoia - all from the chief lamb himself who is too afraid to step into a great international city. All under this silly mask that you care about what happened to this woman. She's obviously of no concern to you and just a tool for your scummy little purpose. I look forward to the day when you acquire some self-awareness and shame. Until then, enjoy the positive impact you have on nobody out here.

Latest news, Rapist was tracked down, beaten to death with a Baseball Bat and dropped in theRead MoreChicago river... missing his assault weapon that used to be between his legs. I wish they would send it to Bringin' Down Briarwood!

21 year old woman was Raped near Wrigleyville, during the middle of the day in an Alley that had aRead Moref enced off construction area. The Rapist used a knife to force the woman into the fenced of area and the Robbed and Raped her. The sense of feeling "Safe" is eroding in the area as more women are Raped and Robberies become a daily event. The criminals from Detroit and NY are finding easy pret among the Liberal minded Chicago residents that would rather risk being Robbed and Raped... than Conceal Carry a firearm for protection. As one lady put it... I'll just move further North.

Would somebody please ask Rep. Scott Drury why he feels that he should work to violate the SecondRead MoreAm endment Rights of every citizen in the State of Illinois. I would like to know why he and his Federal Prosecutors Office NEVER went after the real issue in the Chicago Murder Rate... Criminal Gangs! Why have our prosecutors failed to pursue any charges against these vicious gangs, why? It is so much easier to blame an object, a gun... it can not defend itself and tell the real story. The story that we already know... the gangs are running Chicago!

Steve S. People elect whomever has a (D) next to their name in Cook and Lake County Illinois. Rep.Read MoreS cott Drury may represent the wealthy in his district and may be supported by their fat contributions...but he is failing the people of Illinois. He voted against the Conceal Carry Law, even though both the federal courts and our own Illinois Supreme Court found Illinois to be guilty of violating our Second amendment Constitutional Rights. Now if Rep. Scott Drury had voted against Gay Marriage or a woman's right to choose... there would be hell to pay. But the arrogant North shore elitists are more than happy to keep a boy in office that does them proud and does not tax them equally as the rest of illinois citizens.
