On Thursday, October 25th from 3:00pm – 5:00pm, families looking for the perfect Halloween destination are invited to Downtown Highland Park for Trick or Treating and the chance to peruse some of the fabulous fall items our retailers have to offer in their favorite downtown shops.
Port Clinton Square will be hosting a number of activities from 3:00pm – 6:00pm. From mini train rides to hay rack rides and pony rides, children will delight in the vast array of unique, interactive activities. Parents too will enjoy the live music and seasonal treats this Halloween.
From 3:00pm-8:00pm, families will not want to miss Michael’s Rockin’ Red Hot Haunted House at Michael’s Restaurant which will feature a DJ performance by Mobile Music Entertainment and spooky special effects by Epic Entertainment.
Activities are also being planned throughout the Downtown Highland Park area, including a DJ and face painting at Renaissance Place and a Popcorn Cart at Sunset Foods.
Families are encouraged to stick around the downtown area after the activities and enjoy a tasty dinner at one of our many, wonderful restaurants!

The organization offers various marketing promotions throughout the year for the 450 businesses in the district at no charge to the businesses themselves. DHP promotes its core mission through the Highland Park Gift Card during the holiday season.
