Local child care providers and parents are invited to meet with representatives of the Highland Park Fire Department and the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services at a meeting sponsored by the Highland Park/Highwood Home Child Care Association.

Robert Stevenson, local representative of DCFS, will discuss licensing requirements for child care homes. Joe Schrage, Highland Park Fire Department public education officer, will cover practical home safety tips such as keeping the boiler temperature low enough to prevent scalding.
