Save the date: on October 20th from 3-5:30pm the Tesla Quartet, senior string gold medalists in the 2012 Fischoff Competition will be hosting a free chamber music masterclass at the MYA Center in Highwood. These skilled artists are giving back to the community by sharing their knowledge and skill with younger generations of rising chamber music stars. This event is open to the public and will take place at: 878 Lyster Road, Highwood, IL.

More About The Midwest Young Artists Center
The Midwest Young Artists Center is a pre-college school offering programs specifically designed for students interested in pursuing a passion for music. The programs include Music and Movement for preschool-aged children, orchestral performance programs, voice groups, jazz ensembles, symphonies and music theory and composition classes. Students enrolled at MYA have the opportunity to pursue involvement in many courses in addition to their study of a primary instrument or genre. MYA also offers summer courses and private lessons.
