The Myra Rubenstein Weis Health Resource Center, in partnership with Hadassah Chicago Chapter and Hadassah North Shore Chapter, proudly presents “Food, Facts and Myths: Eat to Beat Malignancy - LIFEstyle Revelations that Challenge the Media. Led by Carol A. Rosenberg, MD, FACP, Director of NorthShore University HealthSystem’s (NorthShore) Living in the Future (LIFE) Cancer Survivorship Program, this informative health education lecture will address the myths perpetuated by mainstream media and identity healthy lifestyle and diet options. Healthy refreshments will be served at this complimentary educational event!

The Myra Rubenstein Weis Health Resource Center is proud to promote health education and health awareness to the communities served by Highland Park Hospital and the NorthShore University HealthSystem community. The Heath Resource Center provides free, easily accessible, broad-based health information to help individuals make informed decisions when it comes to health and disease treatments.

The Highland Park Hospital is an expansive medical facility located just west of downtown Highland Park. Part of the North Shore University Health System, the hospital is both a full-service facility and a teaching hospital. This hospital has a wide variety of services and features including a business center, concierge, emergency services, and both out- and inpatient treatment for everything from substance abuse to oncology to counseling.
