 ctions are improperly thrown away.  Unfortunately\, this &ldquo\;e-waste
 &rdquo\; contains high levels of lead\, mercury and  other toxic substan
 ces unsuitable for disposal in local landfills.  Recycling electronics i
 s a responsible way to keep hazardous electronic  waste out of our landf
