Enjoy a relaxing evening of fantastic Jazz music, great company and a complimentary wine and snack bar on Saturday, August 11th at 7pm. Award-winning MYA alum Adam Kromelow will perform some groovy sets on piano.
Adam is a winner of the National Downbeat Magazine Outstanding Soloist Award, among many other accomplishments. Adam participated from 2004-2007 in the MYA Jazz program. The Music at the Fort in Highwood Concert Series runs the entire concert season, and aims to make world-class performances accessible to all in the community. More About The Midwest Young Artists Center
The Midwest Young Artists Center is a pre-college school offering programs specifically designed for students interested in pursuing a passion for music. The programs include Music and Movement for preschool-aged children, orchestral performance programs, voice groups, jazz ensembles, symphonies and music theory and composition classes. Students enrolled at MYA have the opportunity to pursue involvement in many courses in addition to their study of a primary instrument or genre. MYA also offers summer courses and private lessons.
