DESCRIPTION:Visit five special gardens in Highland Parkand Lake Forest th
 at include inspirational designs filled with beautiful and rare plants. 
 In Highland Park\, visit a garden club member&rsquo\;s home overlooking 
 Lake Michigan that was designed in 1926 by architect Robert E. Seyfarth 
 and landscaped by Prairie style master Jens Jensen\, a landscape archite
 ct&rsquo\;s colonial home with lush garden borders nestled against a New
  England-inspired fence and a ravine waterfall\, and a 1905 Prairie styl
 e house highlighted by a large porch patio overlooking the front garden 
 and a backyard with multiple seating areas designed with entertaining in
  mind. In Lake Forest\, visit a Mediterranean style house and garden des
 igned by Howard Van Doren Shaw in 1909 featuring a restorationof a sunke
 n garden by Rose Standish Nichols\, and Craig Bergmann&rsquo\;s garden a
 t a historic David Adler gate-house that includes formal borders\, a sha
 de garden\, orchard\, motor court and a new swimming pool garden.&nbsp\;
 &nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;\nTickets are $25 in advance and $30 on the 
 day of the walk. They will be sold on the patio at the Deerpath Inn in L
 ake Forest. Net proceeds will go to fund scholarships at the College of 
 Lake County\, the Chicago Botanic Garden's Green Youth Farm in North Chi
 cago\, and other horticultural projects.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbs
