National Headache Foundation Presents “Why Does My Head Hurt?” 

Help Make Migraines Visible on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Newberry Library in Chicago

CHICAGO (May 31, 2012) - The National Headache Foundation (NHF) will host a free educational event “Why Does My Head Hurt?” on Thursday, June 21, 2012 as part of Migraine Awareness Month.   A panel of nationally known experts will speak on a variety of headache topics and be available to answer questions from the audience.  The event takes place from 6pm – 8 pm at Newberry Library, 60 W. Walton (between Clark & Dearborn & Oak Streets) in Chicago.  Reservations are requested as space is limited.  Light beverages and refreshments will be served.   The speakers include:  Alexander Feoktistov, M.D., PhD., - Migraine Headaches, James Banks III, M.D., - Chronic Daily Headaches, Merle L. Diamond, M.D., Women & Headaches and Carol G. The purpose of these educational events is to raise awareness about the National Headache Foundation.   NHF will be celebrating 41years of service to headache victims, their families and their health care providers. The NHF is a nonprofit organization that has pioneered the way headaches have been diagnosed and treated.  No other organization provides such comprehensive educational resources and tools to headache sufferers, their families, physicians who treat headache sufferers, allied healthcare professionals and to the public.
