Hear the CSO Perform Lord of the Rings
The CSO will perform Howard Shore's Grammy-winning score to the second installment of the Lord of the Rings trilogy on Friday night at Ravinia.
After the highly successful 2011 sold-out presentations of TheLord of the Rings—The Fellowship of the Ring with live orchestral accompaniment, Ravinia presents a repeat performance of the second feature film from the box office smash trilogy, The Lord of the Rings—The Two Towers, on Friday.
The CSO will perform Howard Shore’s Grammy-winning score live as the complete film is projected on a giant temporary screen on the north lawn and the two permanent video screens that flank the Pavilion stage.
Friday Tickets: Lawn Only $25/ Ticket & Dining Package $60/ Park opens at 5 p.m.
