“We have all the ingredients, supplies and equipment to make your own beer, wine or (hard) cider,” owner Michael Buss said. “We have kits for soda making as well.” A customer can expect to spend between $110 and $220 to get started.

Brewing itself is a three hour process, according to Buss, but do not expect to be drinking your finely made beer that fast. “You have to let it ferment for about three weeks,” Buss said. “Then you bottle or keg it and let it sit for a week or two.”

There are some legal requirements, according to Buss. A person must be 21 to purchase equipment or supplies. A person is limited to 100 gallons a year and a household can make 100 gallons a year for everyone 21 or over. You cannot sell it but you can serve it to guests and give some as presents.
