Snow, freezing drizzle arrive this afternoon.

Highland Park awoke to sub zero temperatures at -4 for the fourth day in a row this morning but calm breezes have removed a wind chill factor from the forecast, according to the National Weather Service.

Snow or freezing drizzle has a 30 percent chance of moving in after 3 p.m. as the temperature is expected to hit 25 during the day and continue to rise through the night to 27 with the chance for precipitation remaining.

Friday’s high is expected to reach 38 with an 80 percent chance of flurries or freezing drizzle before turning to rain.
