CHICAGO FAMILIES ABOUT TO WELCOME A NEW KID ON THE BLOCK KIDVILLE TO OPEN FIRST MIDWEST LOCATION IN LINCOLN PARK IN SEPTEMBER

CHICAGO (JULY 2013)—Kidville, named 'best of' by New York Magazine, will open a 5,200 square foot facility at 1030 W North Ave, 3rd floor in September 2013.  The first location in the Midwest will be opened by mom and dad team, Sherese and Mike Fralin who, after moving from New York City with their two small children, are now finding themselves bringing their children’s favorite activity center with them to Chicago.

“There is just something special about Kidville that makes families feel like they are part of a community,” explains Sherese Fralin.  “You not only watch your child evolve and grow from their experiences, but you make friends with the families and children who grow up together.”

After moving to Chicago in summer 2011 the Fralins searched far and wide for a place to take their kids.  With fond memories of Kidville in the back of their minds, they could not find anything like it and knew they had to bring this concept to the Chicago market.

“Kidville Lincoln Park is filling a void in the marketplace,” says Fralin. "Instead of going to one place for art, one for music and one for dance, parents can take their kids to the same facility for all these different types of classes.”

Kidville offers a wide range of developmental classes for children, newborn through six. Programs are created by early childhood development specialists and include gym, music, art, dance, enrichment, preschool alternative and camp. Some of the most popular classes include Kidville’s signature Rockin’ Railroad music class, Big Muscle Builders, Run Wiggle Paint & Giggle, My Big Messy Art Class, Ballet Tea Party, Big Muscles for Little Babies, Construction Junction, Wee Giggle, Kidville Sports, Camp Kidville and Kidville University (Kidville’s pre-school alternative program).

The facility also offers a wide array of birthday party themes for children up to age nine including Ultimate All-Star Gym Party and the Fairy Princess Party.

There are currently 92 class offerings that run 16 weeks and range from $525 to $575.  Silver Membership is free with enrollment in any Kidville class, while upgrades to Gold, Platinum and Diamond levels are also available, which include additional benefits and discounts at Kidville Boutiques and Salons worldwide!

Registration for Fall classes in now open by calling 312-605-2555.  Families can take advantage of Kidville's Grand Opening Special where they will receive $50 off for early registration when signing up for the inaugural 13-week Fall semester and grand opening special upgrade to complimentary Gold Membership.

Kidville Lincoln Park will open its doors in late September and will be hosting a special Grand Opening celebration and open house featuring arts and crafts activities, refreshments and Kidville's signature music program, Rockin' Railroad.  Admission is free. WHAT SETS KIDVILLE LINCOLN PARK APART

Parents are always looking for opportunities to engage, entertain and encourage their children with activities that foster basic play and social skills. As opposed to carting a baby or toddler off to separate facilities for different types of classes (music, gym, camp, etc.), parents can find all the offerings they desire, as well as an instant community of other families, under one roof at a clean, safe, trusted facility: Kidville.

Additionally, letting Kidville staff handle themed birthday parties for their children means less hassle, no mess at home and a fun party in a great facility built and designed for kids and their families. Parents can even pick up toys and clothes in the Kidville boutique or get their child’s hair cut in the Kidville Salon without making a special trip.
