HEALTHCARE FOUNDATION OF HIGHLAND PARK RECEIVES ACCOLADES

The Healthcare Foundation of Highland Park was delighted to receive a letter from NorthShore University HealthSystem acknowledging the Foundation’s role to help support and fulfill the hospital’s mission to “preserve and improve human life” in the community.  As a result of the $4 million contribution for 2013 donated by the Healthcare Foundation of Highland Park, NorthShore was able to provide healthcare to the most vulnerable and at risk population in the community served by the hospital.

The grant allowed NorthShore to invest in leading-edge research to advance cures and discoveries and provide 223 different types of health screenings to 4,767 individuals during the year.  Supported by the Healthcare Foundation’s donation, NorthShore was able to invest nearly $7 million in leading-edge research that will directly impact the health of patients.

“The Healthcare Foundation of Highland Park is pleased that our investment in NorthShore has had a direct impact on the health and quality of life of our community members,” stated Jim Styer, Chairman of The Healthcare Foundation of Highland Park.  “We are proud to help sponsor the work of this valuable organization.”
