Highland Park Bank & Trust Launches Holiday Gift Basket Raffle Featuring Local Highland Park Merchants for Holiday Season

Highland Park Bank & Trust announced today that in an effort to support local Highland Park businesses, Highland Park Bank & Trust will once again be hosting its annual complimentary Holiday Gift Basket Raffle of merchandise from local businesses. 

Highland Park Bank & Trust has already begun collecting items from local merchants to create a one-of-a-kind Holiday Gift Basket that is valued at over $2,000.  Complimentary raffle tickets are available November 1, 2013 – December 14, 2013 at Highland Park Bank & Trust, located at 1949 St. Johns Avenue and 643 Roger Williams Avenue.  For every raffle entry, $1 will be donated to Youth, Education and Arts (YEA!) in Highland Park.  The Holiday Gift Basket will be on display in the bank lobby on St. Johns Avenue.

Highland Park Bank & Trust Official Contest Rules for Holiday Gift Basket Raffle

1. NO PURCHASE OR BANK TRANSACTION NECESSARY TO ENTER. A purchase or transaction does not increase your chances of winning. Need not be a customer of bank to enter; becoming a customer will not increase your chances of winning. Void where prohibited.

2. To enter: The raffle begins on November 1, 2013 and ends on December 14, 2013 (“Sweepstakes period”). To enter the sweepstakes without purchase or obligation, complete the raffle form at Highland Park Bank & Trust with all requested information. Limit one entry per person. Employees of Lake Forest Bank & Trust, Wintrust and its affiliates and their relatives are not eligible to participate.

3. Eligibility: Sweepstakes is open to those 18 and over.

4. Prize: Gift Basket with retail value of $2,000 is IRS 1099 reportable. Prizewinners will be determined from qualified entries. Winners may make no substitution/ transfer of prize.

5. Prize restrictions: Prize is non-transferable. Federal, state and local taxes, and any expenses relating to the acceptance and use of the prize not specified, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Limit one prize per person.

6. Drawing: December 16, 2013 Prizewinner will be determined from entries. Determination will be conducted at Highland Park Bank & Trust, 1949 St. Johns Ave., Highland Park, IL.

7. Odds: Odds of being selected, as a sweepstakes winner, will depend on the total number of eligible entries received from the branch listed above and mail-in entries.

8. Winner Notification/Prize Awards: Winners will be notified by phone on December 16, 2013 and do not need to be present to win. For a complete list of winners, please mail a self-addressed stamped envelope to the bank.

9. Additional Terms: By participating, entrants agree to a.) The Official Rules (available at Highland Park Bank & Trust) and the decision of the employees and Highland Park Bank & Trust which shall be final in all respects; b.) release, discharge and hold harmless, Highland Park Bank & Trust and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, and employees from any liability, claims, or damages arising out of their participation in the Sweepstakes, and the acceptance, use, misuse or possession of any prize. By accepting a prize, winners agree to, where legal, the use of their names and/or likenesses for advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation or consideration.

Limitations or Liability Highland Park Bank & Trust is not responsible for the printing of or typographical errors in any Sweepstakes-related materials; for stolen, lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, illegible, or postage-due mail or entries; or for transactions that are processed late or incorrectly or are lost due to computer or electronic malfunction. Highland Park Bank & Trust reserves the right to cancel or modify the Sweepstakes if fraud or technical failures compromises the integrity of the Sweepstakes as determined by Highland Park Bank & Trust in its sole discretion.
