Openlands 50th Anniversary Luncheon
WHAT: The Openlands 50th Anniversary Luncheon highlights the value and benefits of nature on physical and mental well-being. Keynote speaker, Dr. Michael Suk, Chairman of Orthopaedic Surgery for the Geisinger Health System based in Danville, PA., will focus on “park prescriptions” and other green alternatives as a way to combat the growing health issues that face our communities. Additionally, Openlands will honor Judith Stockdale with its 2013 Conservation Leadership Award.
WHEN: Friday, October 25 (Reception begins at 10:30 a.m.; luncheon begins at noon.)
