Starting the Conversation about Care, Legal and Financial Matters of Aging

Caring Generations: A Speakers Bureau Addresses the Care, Legal and Financial Matters of Aging in Series of Free Seminars

Beginning the conversations with your family about the health, legal and financial matters of aging family members is never easy, and tracking down all the information you may need can be daunting.

There are questions about competence: Should mom be living alone? Is dad still capable of managing his own affairs?

There are questions about available options: Should we consider in-home care or would mom be better off living in a community? Should we be looking for skilled nursing or a memory care facility?

And last, there are the legal and financial considerations: Do we legally have the right to make decisions on dad's behalf?  How will we pay for all of this? And what are the tax implications?
