The Auxiliary of NorthShore University HealthSystem at Highland Park Hospital Celebrates Friends and Philanthropy at Annual Luncheon

More than 90 members, friends and supporters of The Auxiliary of NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore) at Highland Park Hospital gathered at Birchwood Country Club on November 6 for the organization’s  Annual Luncheon and Meeting. The annual event serves as an opportunity to celebrate the past year’s successes, as well as the organization’s more than 90 years of community commitment.

Guests of the luncheon enjoyed shopping from the on-site gift boutique before the formal program commenced. Past, current and prospective members, as well as community members at large, had an opportunity to hear from Karen Braun, president of The Auxiliary of NorthShore at Highland Park Hospital, about the organization's impressive history and the incredible impact it has made in the past year to raise funds and awareness for Kellogg Cancer Center at NorthShore Highland Park Hospital. She thanked all those who made the past year’s success possible, including Stu Rosen of DC Sarnies and Michael Rosengarden of Autohaus on Edens for their unwavering support. The celebration continued as Braun, along with Sarah Adess, Jana Brok and Diane Golin, co-chairs of The Auxiliary’s signature fundraising event, “Be Part of the CURE,” proudly presented a check for $129,206 to Jesse Peterson Hall, president of NorthShore Highland Park Hospital and Matthew Adess, MD Medical Director, Kellogg Cancer Center at NorthShore Highland Park Hospital.
