The Auxiliary of NorthShore University HealthSystem at Highland Park Hospital Pairs Up with Local Shop, ShoeFly, for Be Part of the CURE 2014

The Auxiliary of NorthShore University HealthSystem at Highland Park Hospital’s second annual fundraising fete, Be Part of the CURE, welcomes local business, ShoeFly, in Downtown Highland Park as a sponsor. The event, slated for July 18 will raise funds to support NorthShore Kellogg Cancer Center at Highland Park Hospital’s clinical research efforts, educational opportunities for the collaborative nursing staff and equipment to help improve the patient experience.

“As a new local business owner in Highland Park, I was eager to sponsor this year’s Be Part of the CURE,” said Shari Shape, owner of ShoeFly. “I believe local businesses have a responsibility to support important community initiatives.  The fact that our sponsorship will directly impact the health and well-being of cancer patients and health professionals in our community, made this gift an easy choice,” Shape added.

This year’s Be Part of the CURE will take place on July 18, 2014 at the Culinary Innovation Center at Highland Baking Company in Northbrook. For more information on attending the event or ways you can support Be Part of the CURE please call (847) 926-5003, e-mail hpaux@northshore.org or visit northshore.org/auxiliary.
