Rosebud definitely leaving; teen parties hit a snag.

Party foul: Don't expect a repeat of the party the  anytime soon. Pioneer Press reports that the disc jockey responsible for last Saturday's nearly 1000-teen party has been told that the he hosted it at is "unsuitable for party use according to its zoning guidelines." He's apparently looking for suggestions for where to host the next one.

It's official: Rosebud will be leaving Highland Park when its lease expires on June 15, Pioneer Press reports. The owner of Glenview’s Café Lucci he was in talks with the Renaissance Place landlord to open a second location at the spot.

Are you in a band? Saturday is the last day for bands to enter Highland Park's sixth annual Battle of the Bands, a contest put on by and . Bands will battle every weekend in June, and semi-finalists will compete on a professional soundstage before the city's Fourth of July fireworks. Want to see Maroon 5? Get tickets to sold out   at  on Saturday, where the music festival will offer a limited number of pavilion seats to sold out performances. The box office opens at 9 a.m. and will stay open till 6 p.m.
