Dumpsters Placed Throughout City for Spoiled Food

Dumpsters will be available through Sunday, July 17.

As of Wednesday morning,

To help residents deal with spoiled food, the city and Veolia Waste Management have set up four dumpsters in areas still suffering from loss of electricity.

Because regular garbage pick-ups are occurring per the usual schedule, Veolia does not have the truck capacity to also conduct special pick-ups.  To help residents dispose of extra garbage, Veolia is placing dumpsters in four locations near the areas of town experiencing longer delays in power repairs as a way for people to get rid of extra garbage.

Dumpsters will be available through Sunday, July 17.  Please place all garbage in plastic bags. Stickers are not required.  

No landscaping, recycling or construction debris.
