Lake County Takes Biggest Hit from Snowstorm

Two to four more inches of snow expected before Friday afternoon.

The worst of Thursday night's snowstorm hit the Chicago area at midnight and then again at 4 a.m., leaving Lake County with up five to eight inches of snow, according to the Chicago Tribune.

City trucks are currently making their way through Highland Park to plow snow. Meanwhile, senior sent notice out that they should "be prepaed to shovel."

The National Weather Service predicts another two to four inches to fall before the storm eases into snow flurries Friday afternoon, according to Highland Park News.
