Park District Staff Faces NSSRA in Softball
Staff and board members squared off against the North Shore Suburban Recreation Association in a friendly game of softball on July 24.

The annual Northern Suburban Special Recreation Association (NSSRA) Gators vs. Park District of Highland Park staff softball game took place at in Highland Park on July 24.
Every year both organizations get together for a friendly softball game toward the end of the summer. The game was attended by staff from the many different areas of the Park District, including Executive Director Liza McElroy and Commissioners Cal Bernstein and Lori Flores Weisskopf.

The Gators brought out a big group of players and fans to cheer on the game. The Gators beat the PDHP staff, but both teams had a great time. Check out photos from the game above.
