Patch Reader Takes On RUB's 7-Pound Sandwich
Deerfield's Dylon Field tried to eat all of Real Urban Barbecue's Home Wrecker. It gave him a headache.
Months after Joe Frejes tried and failed to conquer Real Urban Barbecue's behemouth of a sandwich -- a 7-pound sandwich with sliced Texas sausage, pulled pork, spicy pickles, a pint of cole slaw and a 10-inch bun -- Highland Park Patch reader and Deerfield High School junior Dylon Field decided to give it a try.

Tuesday through Thurs I had the largest meals i'v ever had, and from 6 p.m. on July 26 on I had small meals.
Doing the challenge I felt like I could tackle all the meat and bread... but then I realized there's still alot of pickles and coleslaw left... and then I realized I couldn't do it.

After the challenge I just had a small headache.
So far no one has been able to finish a Home Wrecker. But if you're thinking about trying, leave a comment, and I'll try to show up and cheer you on (or at least snap a few pictures of you while you fail).
