Viewfinder: Music Theatre Company Turns Library Into a Nightclub

The reference desk will never be the same after last Sunday's gala.

The  was transformed into a glitzy nightclub last Sunday for  (TMTC) second annual gala.

It was the first time the library opened its doors for a gala, and hopefully not the last. The event brought out about 200 people and raised about $20,000 from admission, silent auctions and a raffle for the budding theater company.

was the honorary chairman of the event,  and the Executive Director Gabrielle Rousso received the 2011 TMTC Visionary Award. Mayoral candidates and were also in attendance.
