Chicago Symphony Will Not Leave Ravinia

Though CSO may look for a DuPage summer home, Ravinia is here to stay.

No opening of a summer venue for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in the western suburbs will cause the CSO to leave Ravinia, where it has played its summer season for more than 100 years, according to a story in the Highland Park News.

The idea of finding a DuPage County venue gained steam when the symphony performed five concerts in June at the Morton Arboretum, according to the Highland Park News. Those performances got rave reviews.
