Dance Night Dazzles at HPHS

Student and professional modern dancers leap, step and spin to a packed house.

 Dance Night at Highland Park High School treated students and others to the school's Collage modern dance troupe in addition to performances by Chicago's leading professional troupes last week.

Collage opened the event last Wednesday with its exciting, physically demanding "Mystere," choreographed by Dia Fornasiero. The costumes were by Wanda Cobar and the design by students Ilana Olken and Colette Adatto.

Hubbard Street 2, DanceWorks Chicago, Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago and Thodos Dance Chicago were the professional troupes that added drama, fire and whimsy to the night's performance.
