Held from Thursday, September 6 to Saturday, September 8 in Highland Park’s Port Clinton Square, this three-day event offered residents of the North Shore an opportunity to experience Downtown Highland Park and all of the wonderful shops, services and restaurants it has to offer while also finding inspirations for fashion, beauty, fitness and party planning.
More than 50 area businesses participated in Fashion Week Highland Park, highlighting the hottest trends in fitness, beauty, fashion and special events. Attendees had the opportunity to participate in free fitness classes on Thursday as well as receive complimentary services from salons and spas. On Friday, September 7, local retail shops displayed the newest styles on the runway during two Fashion Shows which showcased the luxurious and accessible businesses of Downtown Highland Park. The first 150 attendees at each show received gift bags filled with goodies from Downtown Highland Park businesses. Finally, on Saturday, September 8, entertainment and event related businesses including florists, catering, event venues, stationary, linen wear, party favors and more were on hand to showcase their merchandise and offer expert advice on throwing the perfect party.
