Art wear unlimited 2012 Spring Show/Sale

Every
fashion individualist in Chicagoland will most likely be seen at the much
anticipated Art wear unlimited Spring
Show/Sale
held semi-annually at the Highland
Park Country Club, 1201 Park Avenue West, Highland Park
.  Shoppers will have the opportunity to enhance
their wardrobes and buy special gifts in time for Mother’s Day and graduation
on Wednesday, April 25th from
10 a.m. until 8 p.m., on Thursday, April 26th and Friday, April 27th,
9 a.m. until 5 p.m., and by appointment.

This
exceptional presentation of one-of-a-kind art-to-wear for the fashion individualist
is the culmination of many months of work by show organizers Linda Brodson and
Kathy Sackheim.  The two travel
throughout the country, tirelessly looking for clothing, studio jewelry,
scarves, purses and hats in all price ranges that are unique and of the highest
quality available.  This season’s visual
feast will include a number of artists who have become favorites along with the
collections of new individuals who Brodson and Sackheim have discovered in
their travels.

“This show will feature more casual and fewer
special occasion clothing than in the past,” stated Kathy Sackheim.  “Many of our customers seem to wear a lot of
black and enjoy enhancing their look with the interesting jackets, jewelry and
scarves that we have at the show.”

“Color
is King,” said Linda Brodson of the merchandise that she and her partner have
personally selected for the show.  “Our
spring event is always filled with items to brighten everyone’s day and
anyone’s wardrobe.”

New
to the show/sale this season is local artist Jo Ann Baumann whose beaded
jewelry and hand dyed scarves embedded with her own hand crafted beads are
spectacular.  Jo Ann will be at the show
throughout the day on Wednesday, April 25th, to talk about her art
and her techniques.  Unusual items
created by Chicago native Danny Mansmith will be on display for purchase and
are guaranteed to be show stoppers at the event.  Danny’s work is also new to the show.

A very special treat for shoppers will be the exquisite Poshaq
silks, the creation of Joyita Ghose, who lives and works in California.
She was recently invited to a special pre Oscar Style Hollywood suite where she
had the opportunity to show her work to celebrities, Oscar nominees, directors and
producers.  And now, Chicago shoppers will have an opportunity to own them
as well!
