Little City Foundation's "Share My Kingdom" Exhibit Opening Reception

Share My Kingdom - Artists of Little City Foundation Exhibit at The Art Center Highland Park

This exhibition will feature art from the artists of Little City’s Center for the Arts, a studio collective for artists with developmental disabilities.  The creations of the artists of the Center for the Arts are distinguished by their forceful immediacy, springing directly from their lives and reflecting their true perspectives, seemingly without societal or cultural filters.  Featured artists include Harold Jefferies, Wayne Mazurek, and Luke Tauber, whose work is also featured in the documentary That’s Why which is currently in production.  Footage from this project will be on view at the exhibition. Join us for the opening evening reception including drinks and other refreshments. Admission is free and open to the public. Exhibition will run through December 22nd, 2011.
