Music at Trinity Presents DONA SPIRITUS– an evening of poetry and music to feed the soul

Music At Trinity will present a Lenten Evensong service on Sunday, March 11 at 4:00 p.m.  The service will include new music written by Highland Park composer Scott Baeseman as well as reflective poems from famous authors.  Mr. Baeseman will conduct the concert, which will feature Harold Brock, Tenor and Pamela Williams, Mezzo Soprano.  The evening will also include soloists and singers from the Lake Forest Country Day School Honors Chorus, and members of Lyric Opera Chicago.

"Dona Spiritus literally means ‘gifts of the spirit’,” said Baeseman, Director of Music at Trinity.  “This program is designed to be a night of self-reflection and inner peace brought about by the power of words and music.”

Trinity Episcopal Church is located at 425 Laurel Avenue in Highland Park.  Admission to the concert is FREE.  Monetary donations will be accepted at the conclusion of the performance to support Music At Trinity and the Waukegan to College program.
