Positive Focus Creative Writing Workshop

Join Poetic License Press and Highland Park Poetry to start 2012 off with a creative positive focus.  Arlyn Miller of Poetic License Press will lead us in creating a “focus wheel” outlining areas of growth for ourselves in the coming year.  Then, we’ll use the focus wheel as a springboard for a poem or other piece of creative writing.

Paper and writing/drawing implements will be provided, although you’re welcome to bring your own or a favorite journal, if you prefer.  All you have to bring is an open mind and a creative intention.  No prior writing experience required.

No fee for the workshop, but donations to help support Highland Park Poetry and The Art Center are welcomed.  The inaugural publication from Poetic License Press, A Light Breakfast, will be available for purchase for $10.
