Rossini & Donizetti Operas in Pop Culture

The unique program focuses on two early 19th century bel canto opera composers, Rossini and Donizetti.  Incorporating audio and video into his presentation, Bob Levi illustrates where pop culture intersects with operatic melodies written by these two composers. The program features Rossini’s Barber of Seville and Donizetti’s Elixir of Love and includes a few additional surprises by these two composers.
