The honorary American flag retirement ceremony will take place at 7pm. American flags worn beyond repair will be respectfully burned, and the ashes ceremoniously buried by Commanders from the American Legion and Boy Scout Pack #35 of Oak Terrace Elementary School.  Guests are encouraged to come with flags for retire, and leave with a memory of participation.

Inferno Fest will highlight creations such as spicy pasta dishes, peppery nuts and popcorn, piquant tacos and salsa, hot wings, and much more! Live music and an array of unique fiery foods will create a fun atmosphere to sample the hottest foods on the North Shore.

For those that may be worried they can’t handle the heat after expanding their culinary horizons, have no  fear. Oberweis Milk Angels will be on hand to rescue sweltering mouths with a glass of cold, cool down milk.  For those not in the know, milk interacts with spices to cool taste buds in a way that water or soda cannot.
