It seems like the downtown Highland Park restaurant has gotten it right this time around.

It's been over a month since Patch published news about the new tapas place in downtown Highland Park, and the reviews from readers and Yelpers seems to be overwhelmingly positive.

"I would definitely come back for more of the tuna and mussels," writes Linda K. in her five star review on Yelp. "Good portions, fairly priced for amount and quality."

Another five star review came from Steve R., a Highland Park based amateur chef who called the restaurant a wonderful addition to Chicago's restaurant scene.

"Highland Park needs another excellent dining venue, and Benjamin Brittsan has delivered the perfect spot," Steve writes.

The comments on the Patch interview with Benjamin Tapas' owner has also drawn positive reviews from readers.

"We had a great meal that pleased and impressed everyone from a picky 16 year old to a restaurant-savvy city dweller," writes Walter Lippman. "Every single dish was expertly prepared and I am already looking forward to going back."

Currently, Tapas is open Tuesday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday from 5 to 10 p.m. and Sunday 5 to 8 p.m. Brittsan is thinking about opening for lunch.

The chef told Patch in June that he's feeling better than ever about cooking food in Highland Park.
