2ND STREET BISTRO & 2ND STREET ENOTECA OFFER EXCLUSIVE MENUS FOR HIGHLAND PARK’S “RESTAURANT WEEK”

HIGHLAND PARK, IL (APRIL 19-29, 2012) – 2nd Street Bistro & 2nd Street Enoteca are proud to partake in Highland Park’s “Restaurant Week”, from April 19th to April 29th. The event encourages busy families to take a break and eat out at the amazing restaurants that Highland Park has to offer. 2nd Street Bistro and 2nd Street Enoteca will both be offering a prix fixe three-course meal for $33 per person. 

The 2nd Street Bistro menu is as follows: 

First Course –  Choice of: 
Baby Arugula, Shaved Asparagus, Julienne Apricots, 
Beet Sticks, Toasted Almonds, Champagne Vinaigrette

Puree of Spring Leek Soup with Strawberry Balsamic Jam

Second Course – Choice of: 
Crispy Idaho Ruby Red Trout, Beet Infused Israeli Cous Cous, 
Grilled Fennel, Saffron Black Pepper Broth

2nd Street Bistro Sous Vide Steak, Swiss Chard, Organic Carrots, 
Seasonal Mushrooms, Pistachio Veal Reduction

Dessert - Choice of: 
Pretzel Bread Pudding, Salted Caramel

About 2nd Street Bistro 

Owner Bobby Dubin and wife, Debbie, started in the restaurant business in 1985, with the opening of Glenview restaurant Gusto Italiano. Since then, the Dubins have created a large following on the North Shore. They have also owned and operated staple lunch spot, Stash’s Restaurant & Grill, the oldest restaurant in Highland Park. 

2nd Street Bistro is open Tuesday through Thursday from 5 pm to 9 pm, and Friday and Saturday from 5 pm to 10 pm. Average dinner entrees range from $12 to $19. 2nd Street Enoteca recently opened in February of 2012, joining sibling restaurant, 2nd Street Bistro. Billed as being the only BYOB restaurant in Highland Park, it has drawn great crowds and tremendous customer feedback from guests. 
2nd Street Enoteca is open Tuesday through Thursday from 5 pm to 9 pm, and Friday and Saturday from 5 pm to 10 pm. Average dinner entrees range from $12 to $24.
