Bridie McKenna's Open Doors for Easter Brunch Sunday, April 8

HIGHWOOD, IL (APRIL 8, 2012) – With the Spring season comes more cheerful holidays, many of which are celebrated with brunch. Bridie McKenna’s, Chicago’s North Shore’s purely Irish pub & restaurant, will be hosting an Easter brunch on April 8th from 10am-2pm. Bridie’s invites everyone to come and celebrate Easter the Irish way!

“Easter is a very important and highly anticipated holiday over in Ireland, aside from St. Paddy’s Day of course!” says Nuala Kavanagh, one of the owners of Bridie McKenna’s, who hails from Ireland. “A typical Easter is filled with food, family, friends, and prayer.”

The Easter brunch ticket is $23.95 for adults and $12.95 for children, and includes: a leg of lamb, prime rib, roast salmon Florentine, roast chicken, Irish eggs benedict, grilled asparagus, roasted baby carrots, roasted potatoes, sautéed green beans, an omelet station, a pancake station, shrimp cocktail, fruit salad, field greens, Caesar salad, assorted pastries, and a mimosa!

Reservations are encouraged, and may be made by calling the restaurant at 847-432-3311.

ABOUT BRIDIE McKENNA’S
The only truly authentic Irish pub and restaurant on the North Shore, Bridie McKenna’s is owned and operated by first generation Irishmen (and women) that brought a bit of the Irish to Chicago when they opened doors in January 2008. The building was designed by an architect in Ireland in the style of a street in an Irish village, to recreate a truly Irish experience in America. The attention to Irish detail is seen and felt throughout the establishment as guests enter the Victorian Bar or dining area with its traditional Irish “Snugs,” or relax in the Country Bar that replicates rural Ireland, or the Library Room where Irish culture also shines through.

Bridie McKenna’s is open late Tuesday through Sunday, from 11:30am Monday through Friday, and a tad earlier for Irish Brunch on Saturday from 10:30am to 2:00am and Sunday from 10:30am to midnight.
