Friends of Ryerson Woods Partners with 2nd Street Enoteca To Support Local Environment

Friends of Ryerson Woods, an environmental organization working to build an environmental ethic in the Chicago region, invites the public to a fundraising event on Sunday, June 10th from 5-10pm, at 2ndStreet Enoteca, located at 1825 Second Street in Highland Park.

Friends of Ryerson Woods staff, family, friends, volunteers and the general public will mix and mingle, drink and dine, all while raising funds and awareness of this important cause. The restaurant will donate 15% of every dinner bill to Friends of Ryerson Woods. Just by stopping in to eat dinner, guests will be making a difference to nature in Illinois. Friends of Ryerson Woods and 2nd Street Enoteca are teaming up because they share the same mission: celebrating Chicagoland’s exquisite environment. Friends of Ryerson Woods works to connect the public with nature, while 2nd Street supports our land by buying locally-sourced, sustainable, and organic items for their menu.
