TAILS OF HOPE KICKS OFF ITS MILLION DOLLAR MEMBERSHIP DRIVE WITH ITS 2ND STREET ENOTECA DINNER EVENT

HIGHLAND PARK, IL (MAY 2012) –Tails of Hope, a no-kill, non-profit animal rescue and adoption organization whose mission is to help the elderly, chronically ill and terminally ill find new homes for their beloved pets, invites the public to its million dollar fundraising event, Wednesday, May 16th from 5-10pm, at 2nd Street Enoteca, 1825 Second Street, Highland Park. The fundraising event will help kick off Tails of Hope’s Million Dollar Membership Drive, with a goal to raise one million dollars by October 5th, during their second Annual “Raise the Woof” Gala fundraiser at the Highland Park Country Club.

 

Starting at 5pm doors will open to Tails of Hope family, friends, adoptee families, volunteers, and the public, to mix and mingle, drink and dine, all while raising funds and awareness for these furry, four-legged homeless creatures. The restaurant will donate 15% of every dinner bill to Tails of Hope.  Just for stopping in to eat dinner attendees will be making a difference in the lives of countless animals.

2nd Street Enoteca is BYOB (no corkage fee) restaurant.  However, for a small donation, Van Gogh Vodka will be serving Mutt-ini’s and Cat-tails for guests.  Van Gogh Vodka will donate 100% of donations to Tails of Hope.

Tails of Hope founder, Kelly Moyer, will be on hand with photos of available adoptees and to answer any questions.  Guests will hear about the new Million Dollar Membership Drive and how you can help.  The opportunity to become a Tails of Hope member for a year will be introduced at the event: $25 for a senior membership, $50 for an individual member, $100 for a family membership and $500 to become a corporate member.
