TAILS OF HOPE KICKS OFF ITS ‘MIX, MINGLE AND MEET YOUR MUT’ MONTHLY FUNDRAISING DRIVE

After a successful kickoff event for their monthly membership drive, Tails of Hope raised over $1,200! Tails of Hope is proud to introduce their Mix, Mingle and Meet your Mut monthly event, which will occur on the third Wednesday of every month, beginning on June 20th from 5:00pm to 10:00pm. Each event will begin to enhance people’s awareness about Tails of Hope, raise knowledge of the availability of healthy, wonderful adoptable dogs, celebrate dogs that have already been adopted, and invite our adopters to attend a night out for dinner. Join us to celebrate the residents of Highland Park who have shown Compassion, Commitment and the spirit of Community. Highland Park represents a unique and tight community that has a track record of accomplishing great things together. Tails of Hope and 2nd Street Enoteca want to bring like-minded people together for a good cause and an enjoyable meal.

Starting at 5pm doors will open to Tails of Hope family, friends, adoptee families, volunteers, and the public, to mix and mingle, drink and dine at 2nd Street Enoteca, a BYOB, while raising funds and awareness for furry, four-legged homeless creatures. The restaurant will donate 15% of every dinner bill to Tails of Hope.  Just for stopping in to eat dinner attendees will be making a difference in the lives of countless homeless animals. The $1,200 already raised will go towards the million-dollar membership drive. That money will continue to sustain Tails of Hope to continue to do the animal rescue and life saving work that the organization prides itself on. Tails of Hopes works towards their mission statement every day, to find new loving homes to help the terminally and chronically ill and elderly who can no longer care for their beloved pets. In addition, they rescue adoptable dogs and cats from euthanasia from other shelters. As a no kill shelter they maintain the physical and mental well being of every animal that is rescued. Any animal in their care remains with Tails of Hope until a "forever" home is found for them. Although there will be no adopting on the spot, applications for adoption will be available at each event.
